The first order of business was a motion by Karpen, seconded
Nelson, Shat the commission recommend that the council approve the
Wlllard Bauer petition for R-S zo-!-g. Ayes, all; Nays, none.
The ¥ince l~lphe petition for R-3 zont~-g was then discussed. It
was suggested that this petition be tabled until an investigation can be
raadeo A sub-cornn-dttee of Siebrecht (Chrn), Nelson and Trua~ vail
investigate and report.
A general review of the progress of th.; industrial phas~ was then
held. It was agreed that there should be more cooperation between the
City Council and the Industrial Commission and the C of C Industrial
Committee with the commission and the committee doing much - i/not
all - of the prelirninary investigations and also the preparation of all
final proposals for the City Council's approval.
It was then moved by Nelson, seconded by Siebrecht, that the
coramission request the council to authorize a study of possible needed
utilities in the new Industrial l~ark in preparation for the new city budget.
