Jr. Member, Mr. Schumacher
Minutes of January 28, 1974 approved.
Twin City Tech request for re-zoning.
Mr. Jensens committee reported that its study indicated that a possible
solution might be an application for a special use permit rather than
re-zoning. The City Attorney has been asked for his opinion on this
approach. The Commission wants to encourage this industry to
remain in Hastings but is reluctant to re-zone to Industrial because the
next use might not be appropriate as a neighbor to a C-1 zone.
Motion by Mr. Hallberg seconded by Mr. Jensen that Mr. Jensens
committee report directly to City Council on their findings in order
to speed up a solution.
