Commissioner Fischer indicated that the
motion he made on the Airport Study did
not include that City should not take any
responsibility for operating costs of
the facility.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Moved by Commissioner Wendler, seconded by
Commissioner Fischer to approve the April 25
minutes as amended.
The Planning Director reviewed a staff
proposal to create a new zoning district
for limited commercial development. DISTIRCT
Commissioner Murray suggested that rather
than create a new zone that the property in
question be rezoned to a C-1 district. Although
the present C-1 zoning district seems to be more
restrictive than desired, the Planning Commission
felt that they should call a Public Hearing to
rezone the property to a C-1 zoning classification
and than consider modifications to the ordinance at
a later date.
