Council Action Requested: Council is asked to accept a donation in the amount of
$800.00, made to the Parks and Recreation Department and and has designated that
this donation be used for a memorial bench in a City Park or on a City Trail.
Background Information: Warner Family & Friends has made this donation to be used
towards a memorial bench in a City Park or on a City Trail.
Financial Impact: Increase the Parks and Recreation donation account by $800.00

RESOLUTION NO. 06 - - 22
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING ACCEPTANCE OF AND APPRECIATION OF
A DONATION TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The Warner Family and friends have presented to the City Parks &
Recreation Department a donation of $800.00 and has designated that this donation be
used for a memorial bench in a City Park or on a City Trail; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of the donation and commends The
Warner Family & Friends for their civic efforts,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hastings, Minnesota;
1. That the donation is accepted and acknowledged with gratitude; and
2. That the donation will be appropriated for a memorial bench to be placed in a
City Park or on a City Trail; and
Adopted this 6th day of June, 2022
