Members Present: CoLmtlssioners Wendler, Stevens, Reuter, Bult-man, Simacek, Kunkel, Freiermuth, and Murphy. Menbers Absent: Conmissioner Von Feldt. Mmved by C~issioner Murphy, seconded by Conmissioner Freier~ath, to approve the minutes of the February 23, 1981 Planning CoL~ttssion meeting, with the correction of adding CoLm&ssioner Stevens name as being present. 8 Ayes, 0 Nayes. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Lewis proposed to continue using his grandfather's holm a his plumbing contracting office. Cc~mission mmzbers asked Mr. Lewis questions having to do with hc~ long he had been operating his business, whether or not the outside storage would be removed, whether retail sales would be conducted on the property, the parking of cormmrcial vehicles on the property, hours of operation, deliveries by semi trucks, and method of distributing the petition indicating no opposition amongst st~rounding neighbors. Conntissioner Wendler indicated that having been a resident of the neighbor- hood in the past, he was concerned about this bus- iness having a negetive affect on the area. C~- issioner Simacek indicated that because of the nurber of names on the petition, indicating no objection, and that Mr. Lewis had indicated that there would be no outside storage, he felt this could be approved and reviewed in one year. Moved by Conmtissioner Simacek, seconded by Conm- issioner }~urphy, to recormmmd approval of the home occupation permit, specifying that no outside storage would be permitted. 7 Ayes, Wendler Naye. bk. Cahill proposed an addition to his building which would come to three feet from the south property line. The Planner indicated that the addition would improve the present delivery function, and the the orientation of the building was was such tbat was dissimilar to the rear setbacks of other structures in the same district. The Planner informed the Plaming Co~[ssion of the basic circtmmtances of the anticipated development.
