Members Present: Commissioners Wendler, Stevens, Von ~eldt, Neuter, Simacek, Vu~kel and ~urDhv. Members Absent: Conunissioners Preiermuth end Pul h~an. The Planner answered her questions. She ~hen stated that sba ~elt that there would be no privacy and no peace and crier in the area if these homes were built. She also stated ~hah there were traffic problems in the area now, and that this would aggravate those problems. Commissioner Simacek skated that he felt that the twin homes were appropriate but he did not like the amount of density provided by the addition o~ the to the development. -2- July 27, ]q~l Moved by Commissioner Von Feldt to approve the setback variamces for the garage and two 4-plex buildings. Motion failed for lack of a second. The Commission members discussed the alternatives further. Again moved by CommJssioner Von Feldt secondea by Commissioner Reuter to approve the setback variances for the garage and two (2) 4-plexes. 6 Ayes, Kunkel obstaining. Moved by Commissioner Simacek seconded by Commissioner Von Fe]dt to approve the five (~) acre minimum ares variance, the Drel~minary plat and planned residential development permit conditioned upon the comments in the July 2~, staff report. 5 Ayes, Stevens Naye, Munke] obstained.
