The Meeting was called Lo order at 7:30 P.M. by the Acting
Chairman Bultman.
Members Present:
Conzomius, and Anderson.
Members Absent: Commissioners Swanson, Wendler and Murphy.
Hoved by Commissioner Simacek, seconded by
Commissioner Renter to approve the Minutes

APPROVAL OF HINUTES
Acting Chairman Bultman opened the Pubtie
Hearing at 7:3t P.H. Tine Planner explained
that a Notice {Df Pub]lc Hearing and Affi-
davit of Publication were en file. %'here-
fore, the pttblic Hearing was properly
called. The Planner summarized the pro-
posal.

Some' of the newer Commission Members asked
questions about the proposed amendment.
The Planner responded. After all people
present had an opportunity to be heard
on the matter~ Acting Chairman Bultman
closed the Public Hear lng at 7:34 P.H.
Moved by Commissioner Router, se::ohded by
CoHtmi ssioner Si macek to reapprove the
proposed Amendment to the Comprehensive
Plan regarding Seasonal and HJneral Ex-
traction Uses in the Runal Open Space
Areas ef the City. 6 Ayes, 0 Nayes.
Hr. SLav :ns gave a Committee Report,
indicating that the Committee had dis-
cussed Mr. Elm~cke's intentions with Hr. Dick
Pike. It is understood that Mr. Eh~cke
would like the property rezone~ to
for' possible f~ture multiple family de-
velopment, through a Special Use Permit.
This would also allow M~-. Snyder to
obtain a buildinq ~0e~mit. Mr. Snyder
told the Commission that the only thing he
was concerned about was obtainino a bu~t,i[ng
permit. He indicated he did not care whah

gave a presentation to the Planning Comm-
ission outlining the future expansion
plans of Profile Extrusions. Mr. Altpeter
also indicated a concern about the com-
patibility of residential deYelopment ad-
jacent to Profile's .land, and also ex.
pressed reservations about the possik}illty
of complaints from future residents about
future industrial development by Profile.
Moved by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by
Commissioner Conzemius to schedule a Public
~earing for the Hay 10, 1982 Planning Comm-
ission Meeting. 5 Ayes, Simacek Naye.
Mr. Siewert and Mr. Jablonske presented a
more refined plan than the last time they
were before the Commission. 1'hey dis-
cussed the initial proposal., and dis
cussed some of the pertinent issues, and
future phases.
The Commissi. on decided, without a vote,
to have the tllree (3) designated Minnesota
Planning Association Members be William
Wendler, Eugene Murphy, and Milo Simacek.
Moved by Commissioner Simacek, seconded by
Commissioner Router to adjourn at 9:20 P.M.
