HEDRA RESOLUTION NO. 2022-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE HASTINGS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
(HEDRA) APPROVING FAÇADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT FOR 214 RAMSEY STREET
WHEREAS, on November 10th, 2021 HEDRA adopted a Façade Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, HEDRA received an application from Eljin Properties, LLC (“Applicant”) for eligible
improvements at 214 Ramsey Street; and
WHEREAS, the scope of work does not require review by the Heritage Preservation Commission
(HPC); and
WHEREAS, the total eligible expenses for the proposed scope of work has a cost of $9,850.00
with all costs as eligible expenses; and
WHEREAS, the Façade Improvement Program requires a 1:1 match of private dollars to any
grant dollars provided by HEDRA; and
WHEREAS, grant dollars shall be disbursed in a reimbursement fashion once the Applicant has
completed all proposed improvements and received approval for any permits and inspections; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant shall submit receipts for reimbursement within three (3) months of
receiving final grant approval or face forfeiture of the grant funds in their entirety; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that HEDRA approves of a Façade Improvement Program
Grant to Eljin Properties, LLC in the amount of $4,925.00.
