V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve Minutes of the City Council workshop and regular meeting on June 7, 2021.
Minutes were approved as presented.

Mayor Fasbender stated comments received have been distributed to all
councilmembers and are acknowledged.

The items on the Consent Agenda are items of routine nature or no perceived controversy to be
acted upon by the City Council in a single motion. There will be no discussion on these items
unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event the items will be removed from the Consent

IX. AWARDING OF CONTRACTS AND PUBLIC HEARING
These are formal proceedings that give the public the opportunity to express their concern, ask
questions,provide additional information, or support on a particular matter. Once the public
hearing is closed, no further testimony is typically allowed and the Council will deliberate
amongst itself and with staff and/or applicant on potential action by the Council.

These items are intended primarily for Council discussion and action.It is up to the discretion of
the Mayor as to what, if any,public comment will be heard on these agenda items.

1. Resolution No. 06-24-21: Site Plan- Quality One Woodwork Expansion(3005
Millard Ave)
Hinzman discussed the proposed site plan to expand Quality One
Woodwork's building and summarized that Council previously approved
the transfer of two properties needed for the expansion.
Council discussion about easement impact on future activity.
Folch, Fox to approve as presented.

2. Resolution No. 06-25-21: Special Use Permit- Climate Controlled Storage-
Rymer(275 33rd St W)
Hinzman discussed the special use permit application and summarized the
ordinance history allowing climate controlled storage within City limits and
received public comment. The Planning Commission unanimously voted to
recommend approval.

Hinzman discussed the variance request, received public comment and that
the Planning Commission unanimously voted to recommend approval.

a. Emergency Paid Sick Leave
Wietecha recapped the various emergency declarations and the associated
expiration dates. He recommends extending the Emergency Sick Leave date.
Council discussion about length of extension and coverage of expenses.
Motion: Extend Emergency Paid Sick Leave through the end of September,
2021. Folch, Fox to approve motion.

agility awards at the Region 12 Trials last week.

Day.
