Members Absent: commissioners Anderson and Dredge. staff Present: planning Director Harmening, Planning Intern Robertson- MINUTES commissioner Kaiser called for additions or corrections to the minuteS of the meeting of December 11, 1989. There being no additions or corrections the minutes were approved as presented. Harmening indicated that M.A. Fearing was requesting FINAL pLAT/ sITE pLAN approval of a final plat and site plan for TWIN GABLES Twin Gables 2nd Addition. Harmening 2NDADDITION discussed with the planning commission a variety of M.A.FEARING issues related to the project. If it is determined that the senior project would occur, the Planning Commission and City Council could then act on the final plat and site plan as currently proposed. If it is determined that the senior project will not occur, the proposed final plat and site plan would not be approved. If the applicant proceeds with a non-senior housing project, the applicant would be required to resubmit a new preliminary plat for approval which would illustrate how the project would be designed without the private park. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nayes, 0. Harmening indicated that Lester Fair and Mark Morstad were requesting approval of a minor subdivision of a lot located at the intersection of 7th St. and River Street. At this time, the Planning Commission is only being requested to order a public hearing on this matter. No other action is required. ORDER PUBLIC HEARING MINOR SUBDIVISION 741 W. 7TH A motion was made by Commissioner Ditty, seconded by Commissioner Zender to order a public hearing for this matter for the Planning Commission meeting of January 8, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nayes, 0. Harmening updated the Planning Commission on actions taken by the City Council. UPDATES/ OTHER BUSINESS There being no further business a motion was made by Commissioner Zender, seconded by Commissioner Ditty to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m. ADJOURNMENT Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nayes, 0.
