Presentation Dakota County Historical Society
Matt Carter, Dakota County Historical Society, and Mariah Ring, from LeDuc
Estate provided an update on Dakota County historical sites and the LeDuc
Mansion.

Presentation Recap of 2020 Levee Park Programming

Marschall Bigler provided a recap of this past seasons events.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve Minutes of the City Council Meeting on October 5, 2020.
Minutes were approved as presented.

COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE
Comments from the audience may include remarks about items listed on the Consent Agenda.
Mayor Fasbender stated comments received about items not on the agenda have
been distributed to all councilmembers and are acknowledged.
VII.
COUNCIL ITEMS TO BE CONSIDERED
Unanimous consent is required to add items to the agenda.
Fasbender noted that since there are not six of seven councilmembers in attendance
the item under Community Development will be removed from the agenda.
VIII.
CONSENT AGENDA
The items on the Consent Agenda are items of routine nature or no perceived controversy to be
acted upon by the City Council in a single motion. There will be no discussion on these items
unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event the items will be removed from the Consent
Agenda to the appropriate Department for discussion.

These are formal proceedings that give the public the opportunity to express their concern, ask

hearing is closed, no further testimony is typically allowed and the Council will deliberate
amongst itself and with staff and/or applicant on potential action by the Council.

Planning Commission will meet on Monday, October 26 th at 7:00 p.m.

Public Safety Committee will meet on Tuesday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m.

City Council will conduct a workshop on Monday, November 2 at 5:30

p.m. to discuss WAC/SAC fees.

Canadian Pacific Railroad has scheduled repairs and track replacement
work at the East 2 Street crossing beginning today. Weather permitting,

the work will take 3 5 days to complete. During the work, traffic will be
detoured to Lea, East 1 Street, and Tyler Streets.

The City has created a grant program to aid local non-profit organizations
that can demonstrate financial hardship due to COVID-19. Priority will go
to organizations that provide human services or public heath services (such
as food delivery, mental heath counseling, community outreach, housing
assistance, and economic security). First review of applications is October
23. See the City website for more information.
