Meeting of July 26, 1993
The regular meeting of the Hastings Planning Commission was called to order by
Commissioner Bolesworth at 7:00 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Bateman, Bolesworth, Onnen and Schommer
Commissioners Absent: Anderson, Featherstone and Relnardy
Staff Present: City Planner Czech
MINUTES
Commissioner Bolesworth called for additions or corrections to the
minutes of the meeting of July 12, 1993. There being no additions or
corrections the minutes were approved.
HOME OCCUPATION
1324 LINCOLN
LANE - WALSH
Czech reviewed staffs July 20, 1993, memorandum to the Planning
Commission concerning a request by JacquelynB. Walsh for approval
of a home occupation permit at 1324 Lincoln Lane.
Commissioner Bateman moved, Commissioner Schommer made a second, to
recommend approval of the home occupation permit at 1324 Lincoln
Lane subject to Ms. Walsh complying with all home occupation
standards including a basic fire protection inspection by the Fire
Marshall.
Upon vote taken, Ayes, 4; Nays, 0.
PUBLIC
HEARING-MINOR
SUBDIVISION
518 W. 4TH ST.
Czech reviewed staffs July 16, 1993, memorandum to the Planning
Commission concerning a request by Frances Langenfeld for approval
of a minor subdivision/lot line adjustment for property at 518 West
4th Street.
Commissioner Bolesworthopened the public hearing at 7:04 p.m. There
being no comments from the audience the public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Schommer moved, Commissioner Bateman made a second, to
recommend approval of the minor subdivision/lot line adjustment as
illustrated on the Survey Certificate prepared by Delmar H. Schwanz
dated July 13, 1993, and subject to all site grading being approved
by the Hastings Building Official.
Upon vote taken, Ayes, 4; Nays, 0.
Commissioner Featherstone joined the meeting at 7:05 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARING
PRELIMINARY/
FINAL PLAT -
HASTINGS
INDUSTRIAL PARK
NO. 5
Czech reviewed staffs July 6, 1993, memorandum to the Planning
Commission concerning the preliminary/final plat entitled Hastings
Industrial Park No. 5 being processed by the City of Hastings.
Commissioner Bolesworth opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m. There
There being no comments from the audience, the public hearing was
closed.

ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Featherstone moved, Commissioner Schommer made a
second, to reconnnend approval of the preliminary/final plat entitled
Hastings Industrial Park No. 5.
Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nays, 0.
Czech reviewed actions pertaining to planning matters taken by the
Council at its July 19, 1993, meeting.
There being no further business, Commissioner Featherstene moved,
Commissioner Bateman made a second, to adjourn the meeting at 7:09
p.m.
