Home My WebLink About02/14/94HASTINGS PLANNING COMMISSION Meetlng of February 14, 1994 The regular meeting of the Hastings Planning Com~ission was called to order by Commissioner Reinardy at 7:00 p.m. Commissioners Present: Flom, Bateman, Bolesworth, Williams and Retnardy Commissioners Absent: Onnen and Schommer Staff Present: City Planner Czech MINUTES Commissioner Reinardy called for additions or corrections to the meeting minutes of December 27, 1993. There being no additions or corrections the minutes were approved. HOME OCCUPATION 934 WEST 5TH STREET Czech reviewed staffs January 24, 1994, memorandum to the Planning Commission concerning a request by Dr. Janice M. Johnson for approval of a home occupation permit which would allow her to provide a secondary chiropractic office at 934 West 5th Street. Commissioner Flom moved, Commissioner Bolesworth made a second, to recommend approval of the home occupation permit subject to Dr. Johnson complying with all home occupation standards including, but not limited to, basic fire protection inspection by the Fire Marshall. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nays, 0. Commissioner Schommer joined the meeting at 7:03 p.m. HOME OCCUPATION 827 WEST 7TH STREET Czech reviewed staffs January 25, 1994, memorandum to the Planning Commission concerning a request by Mr. Timothy L. Mellesmoen for approval of a home occupation permit which would allow him an engineering consulting business at 827 West 7th Street. Commissioner Bateman moved, Commissioner Schommer made a second, to recommend approval of the home occupation permit subject to Mr. Mellesmoen complying with all home occupation standards including, but not limited to, a basic fire protection inspection by the Fire Marshall. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays, 0. UPDATES/OTHER BUSINESS Czech reviewed actions pertaining to planning matters which were taken by the City Council at its February 7, 1994, meeting.
