HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/27/97 Hastings Hannlng Commission Minutes of JanuRry 27, 1997 Commissioner opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Commissioners Present: Schommer, Strauss, Bolesworth, Flom, Harrington and Onnen. Staff Present: Community Development Director Wozniak. The Commissioner by consensus agreed to defer nomination/election of officers until its next meeting. Minutes: Commissioner Onnen called for additions or corrections to the December 23, 1996 Planning Commission meeting minutes. There being no changes the meeting minutes were approved. Public Hearing - Bohlken Estates 4th & 5th Addition Rezone Commissioner Onnen opened the public heating at 7:05 p.m. There being no comments the heating was closed. Commissioner Schommer moved and Commissioner Harrington made a second to recommend approval of an ordinance to rezone property to be platted as Bohlken Estates 4th and 5th Additions from AG (Agriculture) to R-2 (Medium Density Residence). Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays, 0. Public Hearing. Regina Memorial 2nd Addition Preliminary/Final Plat Commissioner Onnen opened the public hearing at 7:10 p.m. There being no comments the hearing was closed. Commissioner Bolesworth moved and Commissioner Schommer made a second to recommend approval of the Regina Memorial 2nd Addition Preliminary and Final Plats subject to the following conditions: 1. Recording of a cross easement between Lot 1, Block 1 of the proposed Regina Memorial 2nd Addition plat and the metes and bounds parcel upon which the Regina Hospital is located which will permit pedestrian access between the two properties. 2. That Lot 1, Block 1 of the proposed Regina Memorial 2nd Addition plat be legally combined with the metes and bounds parcel upon which the Regina Hospital is located. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays, 0. Publ;e ~]ear~ng - Hastings Industrial Park No. 6 - Final Plat Commissioner Onnen opened the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. There being no comments the heating was closed. Commissioner Harrington moved and Commissioner Schommer made a second to recommend approval to City Council of the Hastings Industrial Park No. 6 - Final Plat subject to the following condition: 1. Modification of the plat to include the following drainage and utility easements: a 30 ft. wide drainage and utility easement along the north boundary of Lot 3, Block 2. a 20 ft. wide drainage and utility easement along the north boundary of Lot 2, Block 2. a 20 ft. wide drainage and utility easement between Lots 3 & 4, Block 2 to extend sanitary sewer service to Lot 5. Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays, 0. Adjournment: Commissioner Flom moved and Commissioner Bolesworth made a second to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m.
