WHEREAS, Minnesotahasalreadymetitsrenewableenergygoalofatleast 25% ofitsenergyfromrenewablesourcesby2025. NOW, THEREFOREBEITRESOLVED, bytheCityCounciloftheCityof Hastings, Minnesota; thattheCityCouncildoesherebyfullysupportXcelEnergy’s commitmentto100percentcarbonfreeenergyproductionby2050andlooksforwardto workingwiththemtoachievetheirgoal.
