Minutes of January 25th, 1999
Regular Meeting
Commissioner Schultz called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
Commissioners Present: Flom, Donndelinger, Schultz, Anderson, and Strauss
Commissioners Absent: Harrington
Staff Present: Acting Community Development Director, Matt Weiland.
2. Minutes:
There being no additions or corrections the minutes of the January 1 lth, 1999, Regular Planning Commission
Meeting were approved.
3. Summit Point Site Plan (Lots 33 - 36, Block 1)
Acting Community Development Director, Matt Weiland presented background information on this subject.
Planning Commission Action:
Commissioner Strauss made a motion and Commissioner Donndelinger made a second to make a
Recommendation to the City Council to approve the Summit Point (Lots 33-36, Block 1) Site Plan subject
to the items listed below.
The proposed structure and accessory items including, but not limited to streets, utilities and landscaping
shall be completed pursuant to the approved site plan. Upon request for occupancy of the building, all
uncompleted items contained within the site plan shall be addressed pursuant to city code escrow
requirements.
The applicant shall modify the grading plan to illustrate and define the swales along the north and south
sides of the lots. The applicant shall also lower the elevation in the southwest comer of the site to at
least 865 feet in order to make sure the site will drain correctly.
Upon vote taken, Ayes, 5; Nays, 0. Motion Carried
5. Updates and Other Business:
Acting Community Development Director, Matt Weiland informed the Planning Commission about the
informational meeting to be held on February 2nd, 1999 concerning the Hastings 55 Center project and about the
Joint Planning Commission meeting to be held by the County February 11th, 1999.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:19 pm
Planning Commissioner Workshop - Hastings 55 Center
The Planning met and discussed the Hastings 55 Center Project. The overall site design was reviewed as well as
specific issues. The Planning Commission is in favor of the project.
