The City COuncil of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular meeting on
Monday, August 4, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
MemJ:ers Present: COuncilmember Berg, Werner, Kulzer, Bond,
Trautmann, Nesbitt, Plan and Mayor Stoffel.
Members Absent: None.
The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the meeting of
July 21, 1986 and hearing none declared the minutes approved as presented.
Moved by Councilmember Trautmann, seconded by Councilmember
Kulzer to accept the following bidg that were received according
to the specifications set forth by the City Council. 8 Ayes;
Nayes, None.

Moved by Councilmember Bond to turn the natter of the Employee Health Insurance
over to the Adninistrative Canmittee of the City Council to consider and nake
recanm:mdation. '!his Irotion died for a lack of a second.
COuncilmember Werner suggested that possibly two members of the COuncil work
with the Employee Insurance Carmittee to consider possible alternatives to the health
insurance.
The Mayor suggested that Councilmember Trautmann and Councilmember Plan work
with the Employee Insurance Carmittee, however the following Irotion was adopted.
Moved by COuncilmember Berg, seconded by Councilmember Werner to subnit the
present plan and altermte Plan II to the employees to a vote on which plan they

The Mayor declared the Public Hearing open at 8:00 p.m. to roBLIC HEARIN:;-
consider arrending Section 10.13, Subdivision 2 and Section 10.02, HOME OCaJPATION
Subdivision 11 having to do with Hane Occup:ltion Permits. '!he IN R-3 ZONE AND
Mayor asked if anyone wished to speak on the natter, no one DEFINITION 0IAN3E
wished to do so. '!he Mayor closed the public hearing at 8 :01 p.m.
The Mayor declared the Public Hearing open at 8:01 p.m. to
consider a Special Use Permit allowing Ken and Dave's autobody
repair business in the Industrial Park. The Mayor asked if any-
one wished to speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. The
Mayor closed the public hearing at 8:02 p.m.

speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. The Mayor declared '
the public hearing closed at 8:03 p.m.

Plan to pass the 200 Reading of an Ordinance Amending Section
10.13, Subdivision 2 and 10.02, Subdivision 11 having to do with

Kulzer to apprOlTe the Special Use Permit for Ken & Dave's Auto
Repair in a proposed building in the IOOustrial Park to be
located at the Northwest corner of 160th Street (31st Street)
