the minutes approved as read.
The Mayor declared the Public Hearing on the adoption PUBLIC HEARING ON
of the 1977 Assessments open at 7: 35 P.M. The Administrator read 1977 ASSESSMENTS

Property owners on 15th Street voiced their objections to
paying 100% assessments on a 44 foot wide street, stating that other
44 foot wide streets are State Aid and same assistance is provided.
They felt the City should participate in the additional cost incurred
in the 44 foot wide street rather than the usual 36 foot wide street,
because it benefitted the whole community and not a direct benefit to
them .
Moved by Councilman Collins to assess 15th Street, Brittany
to Todd Way, for the 36 foot wide street not the 44 foot wide. Motion
failed for lack of a second.
