The City CmUlcil of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a
Special Meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall for the purpose of holding a Public
Hearing on the Downtown Revitalization Plan.
Members present: Councilmen Kramer, Erickson, .Schnirring,
Latch, Fischer and ~~yor Petersen.
Members absent: Councilmen Hallberg, Novak and Elliott.
The ~yor opened the hearing at 7:35 P.M.

Petitions were presented to the Council which both favored
the downtown development scheme and apposed the same scheme. Also received
into the record during the hearing, was a letter from ~~ster Industries
concerning the issue of allowing industry to expand in the downtown area.
After the ~yor had given everyone in the audience an opportunity to be
heard and express their view in this matter, closed the Public Hearing at
9:00 P.M.
