The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a special
meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 1980 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall for the
purpose of canvassing the election returns of the Primary Election held on
Tuesday, September 9, 1980.
Members present: Councilmen Kulzer, Stoffel, Shannon, Karnick,
Collins, LBgler, and Mayor Petersen.

Members absent:
Councilmen Trautmann, Trutna.
Councilman Shannon introduced the follcming resolution and IIDved its
adoption:

RESOLUTION #57-80
The results of the canvass of votes in the four Wards of said City
for the Primary Election held therein on Tuesday, the 10th day of September, 1980
be and the same are declared to be as follcms:

BE IT FURI'HER RESOLVED that the City Council finds fran said canvass
that the following listed candidates in the four Wards of the City have received
a plurality of votes in said Wards, and also finds and declares the follcming
shall be the candidates for sucb office at the General Election November 4, 1980.
