M. in the Council Chambers of the Ci ty Hall. ME!Ii:>ers present: Councilmen Trautmann, Trutna, Kulzer, Stoffel, Shannon, Karnick, Collins, I..egler and Mayor Petersen. Members absent: None. '!he Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the meeting of March 18, 1980 and hearing none declared the minutes approved as presented. '!he Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the special meeting of March 26, 1980 and hearing none declared the minutes approved as presented. The Mayor 0pened the public hearing called to consider PUBLIC HEARING ClOSE the proposed closing of the road which goes through the Roadside ROAD 'IHROTX1H ROADSIDE Park on Highway 55 at 7:30 P.M. The legal notices of the hearing PARK were read into the record by the City Administrator. The hearing had been properly called. The Mayor gave everyone an opportunity to speak on the subject. No one appeared for or against the proposed closing of the roa.c:r; The Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. Moved by Councilman Trautmann, seconded by Councilman ClOSE ROAD THR.OlXJH Karnick to approve the closing of the road which goes through ROAreIDE PARK Roadside Park as per the recarmendation of the Natural Resource & Recreation Comnission. Ayes, 5; Nayes, Kulzer, Stoffel, Collins. Moved by Councilman Stoffel, seconded by Councilman I..egler to approve the Hane Occupation Permit for Daniel McCabe, 1345 Westview Drive to allON the operation of a dental labora- tory in the basanent of his hane. APPROVE Ham OCCUPATION PERMIT-DENTAL LAB Moved by Councilman Stoffel, seconded by Councilman I..egler to pass the first reading of an amendment to the 1-2 Zoning District classification, adding carmercial and recrea- tional facilities as a special use in that District and to call for a public hearing on this amendment for Monday, April 21, 1980 at 7: 30 P. M. in the Council Charrbers. Ayes, 8; Nayes, none. Ayes, 8; Nayes, none. 229 REFUSE RURAL FIRE ASS' N PROPOSAL Moved by CO'lmailman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman Karnick to reject the Rural Fire Association contract proposal that was presented to the City Council by the Rural Fire Association. Ayes, 8; Nayes, none. APPROVE OONTRACI' RURAL FIRE ASS' N. Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman Karnick to approve an alternate contract for rural fire service, subject to acceptance by the Rural Fire Association.
