The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a closed door session on
Monday, March 3, 1997 at 8:26 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1010 Street East,
Hastings, Minnesota to discuss the Minnesota Police Recruitment System Lawsuit and the 1997
49er's Union Contract.
Members Present: Councilmember Johnson, Yandrasits, Riveness, Hicks, Moratzka,
and Mayor Werner.
Members Absent: Councilmember Simacek
Staff Members Present: Dave Osberg, City Administrator;
Joyce L. Pruitt, Administrative Assistant/City Clerk;
Shawn Moynihan, City Attorney
City Administrator Dave Osberg updated the City Council on the MPRS Lawsuit and
1997 proposals received from the 49er's Union, which includes the Public Works, Parks,
Engineering and TRAC Drivers. Discussion was held regarding the proposals that have been
received from the Union.
Moved by Councilmember Johnson, seconded by Councilmember Yandrasits, to adjourn
to the regular Council meeting at 8:55 p.m. 6 Ayes;Nays,None.
