The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota mat in a regular
rreeting on MJnday, July 20, 1981 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall.
Members Present: Councilrmn Legler, Kulzer, Trautmann, Pike, Karnick,
Trutna, Klirrek, Bond, and Mayor Stoffel

The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the
rreeting of July 6, 1981 and hearing none, deylared the minutes approved as
read.

rmn Legler, to approve the Hare Occupation Permit for
Leo Tichawa, 207 W 2nd Street, to operate a gift shop
out of his home.

man Karnick, to approve the Home Occupation Permit
for Gordon Anderson, 1804 Pine Street, to perform gun
repair.

rmn Karnick, to table the Rear Setback: Variance and
Minor Subdivision of Gerald Frandrup Jr., 1520
Ramsey Street, to allow tirre for persons in the neigh-

rmn Karnick, to approve a one (1) year titre extension
for surfacing the driveway to the loading dock of
Mr. Kramer's building in the Industrial Park.

Budget. This budget is subject to review again with

from $1,000 per year to $1,200 per year per firermn.

7:30 P.M. on the 3rd day of August, 1981 in the
Council Chanbers of the City Hall, concerning the
proposed use of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to be
received by the City.

man Trautmann, to deny the request for a road closing
from 15th Street south to 17th Street on Brittany Road.
Ayes: Legler and Trautmann; Nayes: Kulzer, Pike, Karnick,
Trutna, Klimek and Bond. MJtion failed.
MJved by Councilman Kamick, seconded by Council-
man Bond, to approve the road closing from 15th Street
south to 17th Street on Brittany Road on the evening
of August 1, 1981.

~ved by Councilman KliIrek~:. seconded by Council-
man Legler, to rent the Civic Arena on Saturday, August
8, 1981 from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. for a Pro Wrestling
program. The proIIDters \\Quld pay $200 rent for this
facility and they would handle all ticket sales,
advertising, and announcing of this event. The City
\\Quld receive all revenues from concessions.

organize concessions at King's Cove Marina as a City
function on September 10th through 13th. If this

D. L. R. Construction that \\Quld extend Millard
Avenue Utili ties and Grading northward from
Spiral Boulevard to the southerly line of the pro-

man Karnick, that the fuwntOWIl Redeveloprrent Project
proposal be placed on the August 3rd, 1981 City
Council Agenda.

man Pike, for City Staff to draft a letter addressing
Senate File #898, that denies Cities the right to
regulate rates for cable service.
