MenDers present: Councilmen Legler, Kulzer, Trautmann, Pike, Karnick, Trutna, Klimek, Bond. Ii Members absent: None. The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the meetings of May 18, 1981 and hea:r~ng. none declared the minutes approved as read. . T"""I m o CD m <t: Moved by Councilman Legler, seconded by Councilman Kulzer to pass a resolution awarding the bid for the 1981 Municipal Street and Utility Construction Program. 'I\ID bids were su1:xni tted. The bid was awarded to Pine Bend Paving, the lowest bidder, in the amount of $37,920.99. Ayes, 8; Nayes, none. Moved by Councilman Karnick, seconded by Council- man Pike to rescind resolution #22-81 which awarded the bid for a tanker truck to O'Brien Chevrolet because the frmre which they bid did not meet specifications and they could not certify the fratre would be equiv- alent in strength as called for in the bid specif- ications. Also, to award the bid for the 2,000 gallon tanker truck to the next lowest bidder meeting . specifications, Bahls Motor & Implement G:>., Inc. at the bid price of $32,874.20. Ayes, 8; Nayes, none.
