Menbers present: Counci1men Legler, Kulzer, Pike, Karnick, TrtItna, Klimek, Bond, and Mayor Stoffel. Menbers absent: Councilman Trautmann. The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the meetings of March 2nd and 3rd, 1981 and hearing none declared the minutes approved as read. The Mayor opened the Public Hearing at 7:32 p.m. to consider the construction of Pleasant Drive North fran the intersection of West 4th Street and Pleasant Drive through to C.S.A.H. No. 42. '!be legal notices of the public hearing were read into the record by the City Administrator, the hearing had been properly called. Mr. Dietz, consulting engineer fran Rieke, Carroll, Muller Associates, gave a review of the project, area affected, costs, etc. Everyone was given the opportunity to speak on the project. The Mayor closed the public hearing at 8:08 p.m. Moved by Counci1man Bond, seconded by Councilman Kulzer to pass a resolution approving the Pleasant Drive North Project and authorize the preparation of final plans and specifications for the Project. '!he new addition would be 12 feet fran the rear property line, while the requtred rear setback is 35 ft. Ayes, 6; Nayes, Bond. Moved by Councilman Bond, seconded by Councilman Trutna to approve the Minor subdivision at the intersection of Southview Drive and Westview Drive as requested by Art Groth, as presented in the mana fran Paul Burns, City Planner, dated February 26, 1981. Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman Pike to adopt the resolution awarding the bid to furnish the Ci ty with one Rescue vehicle for the Fire Department to Pierce Manufacturing, Inc. at the bid price of $35,440.00.
