January 5, 1981 .~ J'" :! ;. 1 The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular meeting on Monday, January 5, 1981 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Olarrbers of the City Hall. Members present: CounciJroen Trautmann, Trutna, Kulzer, Stoffel, Shannon, Karnick, Legler, and Mayor Petersen. . Members absent: Counci1man Collins. The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the meeting of December 15, 1980 and hearing none approved the minutes as read. The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the meeting of December 30, 1980 and hearing none declared the minutes approved. Moved by Counci1man Shannon, seconded by Counci1man Stoffel to pass the 2nd reading of the amendment to the Sign Ordinance, as indicated in the Planner's melID of December 5th and lOth. Moved by Councilman Trautmann, seconded by Counci1.man 'rrutna to approve a special use permit for Donald Olson, to construct a two family dwelling in an R-2 Zoning District, subject to the stru~ture meeting all other wning requirements. The City Attorney advised the Council that the whole reading process should be done over again because of the substantial changes that had been made in the Ordinance after the second reading.
