Advisory Commision Council Action Requested: Approve the recommendation for the appointment of Ms. Patti McCauley and Mr. Patrick Stockman to new two year terms to the Public Safety
Advisory Commission. Background Information: In January 2012 the appointments of Public Safety Commissioners Judy Gilbert and Joe Drexler expired. The open appointments were advertised
and 10 applications were received from a diverse group of interested residents. On March 31, 2012, Public Safety Advisory Commission Vice-Chair Mary Fasbender and Councilmember Slavik,
who chairs the Public Safety Committee of Council, interviewed the applicants. While all the applicants were well qualified and expressed a strong interest in serving the City in the
capacity of Public Safety Advisory Commissioner, Ms. Patti McCauley and Mr. Patrick Stockman are being recommended for appointment. With Council approval, Ms. McCauley and Mr. Stockman
will serve a two year term -2012 and 2013. Financial Impact: None. Advisory Commission Discussion: As noted above. Council Committee Discussion: None. Attachments: • None
