4. Other activities.
The HPC accepted nominations and awarded plaques recognizing exemplary work in historic
preservation to the owners of the following 7properties at the May 16, 2011City Council
meeting:

The HPCwill be recommending that the City Council adopt several amendments to the Design
Guidelines. Many of the changes proposed are to reflect typical decisions that the HPC has made
consistently in the past. Some were a result of comments from citizens regarding decisions the
HPC has made. Finally, some of the guidelines are just being clarified. The proposed
amendments are attached.
