The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met
in a regular meeting on Monday, April 6, 1992 t p . e
in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 Sibley Street, Hastings,
Minnesota,
Members Present: Councilmember Johnson, l athiowet ,
Trautmann, Hicks, Simacek, Riveness and
Mayor Werner

The Mayor called for corrections or additions to APPROVAL 'A OF
the minutes of the regular meeting of March 16, 1992 MINUTES
and special meeting of March 30, 1992 and hearing none
declared the minutes approved as presented.
Moved by Councilmember Trautmann, seconded by
Councilmember Johnson to approve the consent agenda
as presented with the exception as follows:

Department air compressor to the apparent low bidder,
Aspen Equipment Company, for $11,070-00 and to declare
the existing air compressor as excess property, and to
trade the existing air compressor to S.D. 200 for

asbestos abatement work to the apparent low bidder,.

Mayor Werner opened the Public Hearing a t

the City Code (Section 11.01, 11,06) establishing
regulations for Subdi isons (platting) requirements.
The City Clerk provided proof of affidavit of
pub lication, The Mayor asked if anyone wi shed t
speak on the ,issue, no one wished to so. The M
closed the public hearing at 7:13 p.m.

an amendment to chapter 11 of the City code which

contingent upon the satisfactory subsurface AGREEMENT
investigation. This motion also includes approval of
an Agreement with Braun Intertec to conduct that

Councilinember Trautmann to adopt Resolution No. 33-92 NO, 33-92
directing the Hastings City Staff and City Council. BUDGET
to use extreme caution on various appropriations and REDUCTION
expenditures for the balance of 1992, due to the State MEASURES
of Minnesota budget problems and potential impact on
