The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular
meeting o Tues January 18, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers, 101 4th street East, Hastings, Minnesota.

Mayor W erner swore in Hastings Planning Commission COMMISSIONERS

Bateman and NRRC Commissioners Tu rney Haz and Kira Olson.
Mayor Verner acknowledged. Boy Scout Troop 503 as
being P resent and working on their Citizen in a Communi
merit badge.

Mayor Werner opened the Pu H earing at 7:05 p.m. PUBLI

an access drive with an east west alignment to be

4 . That the Applicant s submit a revised grading
plan and landscapin. g plan for proposed landscape
treatment along 15th street to be approved by staf
prior to final plait approval or construction of
public improvements.
5. That approval of the third /final reading of rezoning
of the Wallin Addition will be withheld until final
plat approval as requested. Further, the Planning
Committee recognized that it is the intent of the
applicant to submit complete preliminary plat
information for the remaining 96 acres which has
access to sanitary sewer prier to final plat approval

$ 15,687.45 for 1994 ton. Utility Department pickup,

Channel. City Administrator Osberg stated that this is
being reviewed. with Electronic Interiors and Intellio.
Mayor Werner informed the City Council of the second
session of the Youth Committee to be held in the meeting
room of the Po l i ce Department on Thursday, 1 - - at p.m.

The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a closed
door session on Tuesday, January 18, 1994 at 8:30 p.m. in the City Hall,
101 4th Street East, Hastings, Minnesota.
Members Pre. ent : Cou.n ilmember Johnson, Simaee} , Trautmann, Hicks,
Varner, Riveness and Mayor Werner
Members Absent: None
Staff Members Present: Dave Osber , City Administrator;
Barb Thompson, City Clerk;
and Shawn Moynihan, City Attorney
City Administrator Dave Osberg updated City Council on
the labor negotiation sessions conducted with the
4 9er' s , Police supervisor's and Police Officer's Unions.
Discussion was held on strategy for future meetings
with the union representatives.
