The City C ouncil of the city of Hastings, Minnesota met in a
regular~ City Council meeting on Mon January 3 . 1994 at 7 p.m.
in th C ity Ha Council Chambers, 101 4th St East, Hastings,
M innesota.

The Mayor called for correction. s or additions to the APPROVAL
minutes o the regular meeting on Decemb 20 , 1993 and C
hearing none declared the minutes approved as presented.

Mayor Werner opened the Publ H earing a t 7:05 p.m. PUBLI
to consider an O rdinance of the C ity of Hastings amending NEARING
the City of H ast in gs Charter Section. 3.06 by changing the - CHARTER
language, but not the substance, on that section where it A �.
could change to the Mayor's Duties and au thority with
respect to the Hastings Police Department. The City Clerk
provided proof of affidavit of publication. Mayor Werner
asked if anyone wished to speak on the issue, no one wished
to do so. The Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:05 p..

Mayor Verner opened the Public Hearing at 7:07 p.m. PUBLIC
to hear comments on the request from the Tuttle Farm HEARING
Partnership for rezoning from Agriculture to Low -REZONE-
Density Residence R -1 and Medium Density Residence -2 '
The City Clerk provided proof of affidavit of publication.
The Mayor asked if anyone wished to speak on the issue,
no one wished to do so. The Mayor closed the public hearing
at 7:03 p.m.

Mayor Werner presented to Council the 1994 Council 1
