Members Present: Councllmember Riveness, Warner, Johnson, Simacel , Moratzka,, Hicks and Mayor Wenner Members Absent: bone Staff Members Present: Dave O berg, City Administrator; Barb Thompson, City Clerk; Marty McNamara, Parts & Recreation Director; Mike Wozniak, Community Development Director; and Shawn Moynihan, City Attorney Mr. Tom, Kelly, President of the Hastings Area Rotary Club, $5,000 DONATION presented Mayor Werner with a check for $5,000 designated to the Vermillion Trail Bridge Project. Mayor Werner opened the continued Public Hearing from April 3, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. to hear comments regarding the possible transfer of the Cable Television Franchise from King Videocable to Continental Cablevision. Mayor Verner asked if anyone wished to speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. The Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:08 p.m. Moved by Councilmember Simace , seconded Councilmember .ieness to adopt resolution No. 57-95 approving the transfer of control from King Videocable to Contental Cableision, Inc. 7 Ayes; Nays, None. Moved by Councilmember Warner, seconded by Councilmember Hicks to reject all quotes submitted and ask that Staff prepare a new form to allow the opportunity for Hastings businesses to be involved in submitting a quote to supply lumber for the Vermillion Trail Bridge. 7 Ayes; lays, None. NO. 7 -9 TRANSFER of CABLE TV WILSON PARK DESIGN RE -BID VERM, TEL BRIDGE Moved by Councilmember Sil acel , seconded by Councilmember SITE PLAN- Hicks to approve the request for a site plan at 1175 lxninger (toad as REGINA MEMORIAL recoGnmended by the Planning Ong Conunission and subject to the following HOSPITAL conditions: 1 The proposed structure and accessory items including, but not limited to, the paining lot and landscaping shall be completed pursuant to the approved site plan. Upon request for occupancy of the building, all uncompleted items contained within the site plan shall be addressed pursuant to the escrow requirements contained within the site plan review provisions of the City zoning ordinance (Section 10.24). 2. That the applicant/developer follows comments, 1,2,3 and listed in Torn Montgomery's ery' May 15, 1995 memorandum regarding the Foster Care /Assisted Living Site Plans. 3. Councilmember Hicks removed himself from his Council seat. Moved by Councilmember Siena 1, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka to appoint Wayne Dicks effective 16-19-95 and Mike Munson effective -22 -9, as Police Officers. 6 Ayes; lays, lone.
