HomeMy WebLinkAbout20101115 - VI-08 City Council Memorandum To: Mayor Hicks & City Councilmembers From: Charlene Stark Date: 11/9/2010 Item: Budget Adjustment-Police Department Council Action Requested: Budget adjustment for the Police Department Overtime Background Information: This summer the construction company that was working on Hwy 61 requested an officer to maintain control at the intersections that were closed during the summer's repaving of Hwy 61 through town. The construction company paid for the officer to be present. The police department received $4,000 of safe and sober reimbursement grants to offset the expense of overtime. The overtime was incurred due to city officers participating in events to create awareness in several communities througout Dakota County.
