Re: Resolution — Order Feasibility Study for the North Frontage Road
Council Action Requested:
Council is requested to adopt the enclosed resolution order a Feasibility Study for
the reconstruction of the North Frontage Road from Pleasant Drive to 230 feet to
the west. This Feasibility Study would be included as part of the proposed 2011
Infrastructure Improvements Feasibility Study.
Background Information:
This short section of the North Frontage Road that connects the Dakota County
campus access to Pleasant Drive was overlooked when preparing the list of
streets proposed for the 2011 Infrastructure Improvement Program. Council is
requested to include this section of the North Frontage Road with the previously
ordered Whispering Lane and Whispering Court feasibility studies.
Financial Impact: All projects proposed for the 2011 Infrastructure
Improvement Program will be subject to the $3.5 million bonding ceiling
budgeted.
