Item: Resolution Accepting Donations for Community Halloween Party
Council Action Requested:
Approve resolution accepting donations to the Parks and Recreation Department from various
donators for the Youth First Community Halloween Party.
Background Information:
Various community businesses and individuals have donated money and prizes for the annual
Youth First Community Halloween Party that was held this year on October 29, 2010.
Financial Impact:
Adjust the 2010 Parks and Recreation budget accordingly.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION 11- -10
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING ACCEPTANCE OF AND APPRECIATION OF
A DONATION TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS,
various community businesses and individuals (as listed on
Attachment A) have presented to the City Parks and Recreation Department
donations totaling $3,270.00 along with various prizes and have designated that
these donations be used for the Youth First Community Halloween Party that
was held on October 29, 2010; and
WHEREAS,
the City Council is appreciative of the donation and
commends these various community businesses and individuals for their civic
efforts,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,
by the City Council of the City of
Hastings, Minnesota;
1. That the donations are accepted and acknowledged with gratitude; and
2. That the donations will be appropriated for the Youth First Community
Halloween Party; and
3. That the 2010 Parks and Recreation Budget be adjusted accordingly.
