cleanup discussed by Harold Christensen. Interviewed Steve Miller, Walt Popp and Mark Vaughan for
Commission vacancies. Motion to approve by Harold Christensen/Mike Brown. Passed.

Interviewed Joe Becker and Phil Veith. Discussion followed regarding merits of all five
candidates. Motion to add one position to the Natural Resources and Recreation Commission by Betsy
Dullum/Mike Brown. Passed.

Vote: Walt Popp and Phil Veith were selected as Commissioners. Pending City Council approval of an
additional commissioner the selected candidate was Joe Becker. Motion to approve by Harold
Christensen/Terry Sieben. Passed.

Spring cleanup is April 27. Clean up bags can be picked up at the Joint Maintenance

Facility Friday, April 26 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m or Saturday, April 27 from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00
a.m. Full bags should be left curbside for pickup. Jane Lightborn will be highlighting this in the Hastings
Star Gazette.

Discussion regarding bike trail to Prescott. There will be a tour on Thursday, April 25. Meet at City Hall at
10:00 a.m. to walk the trail with the property owner.
