Council Action Requested: I am seeking City Council approval to make a payment to Pool Construction, Inc. as per our agreement. Background Information: On June 15, 2009, City Council approved a bid by Pool Construction, Inc. in the amount of $196,000 to replace the plaster at the Hastings Family Aquatic Center. As part of our agreement with Pool Construction, Inc., we would like to now issue the 2nd installment of their payment in the amount of $164,350. This will leave a retainer of $9,800 to be paid after all punch list items are completed on the project. This amount has been verified by our consulting engineer and staff has verified that prevailing wages were paid. Financial Impact: This amount has been budgeted for 2010.
