As you are aware, by Minnesota law this Acceptance of Appointment and Oath must be signed and delivered to District Court within 30 days after their appointment by the Chief Judge. I am enclosing a certified copy of the Resolution whereby the City Council recommended for your consideration the reappointment of an individual who is currently serving on the Commission. If this recommendation meets with your approval, I am enclosing the original and one copy of the proposed Order. I am also enclosing a certified copy of a Resolution passed at the November 18, 1985, City Council Meeting wherein four individuals were appointed to the Charter Commission. This was an oversight on my part since Minnesota Statutes require that these individuals be appointed for four year terms.
