In order that the re- appointment Oaths be returned to the County in time we ask that you stop in City Hall at your earliest convenience and either the City Clerk or Deputy will again swear you in and have you sign. The next Charter Commission meeting is not until the middle of March, therefore we ask that you stop in sometime before March lst. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation. The statute provides that no charter commission member may be appointed to more than two successive terms. I note that some of the persons nominated by the council have been on the commission for several years. I think you should check on this and let me know. If you can't find any records, I can perhaps find a court file that will have this information. I will hold up on the documentation until I hear from you.
