PROCLAMATION
OF THE HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL
CELEBRATING YOUTH AND DECLARING
MAY 17-22, 2010
AS “YOUTH APPRECIATION WEEK”
IN THE CITY OF HASTINGS
WHEREAS,
our community values the youth of our community; and
WHEREAS,
our community nurtures and supports the physical, social, and emotional
development of the youth of Hastings; and
WHEREAS
, the youth of this generation become our community leaders of tomorrow;
and
WHEREAS
, the Hastings Youth First program provides a process for engaging the
community in positive asset building of the youth of our community.
NOWTHEREFOREBE IT RESOLVED
, , , that the week of May 17-22, 2010, is
hereby proclaimed as Youth Appreciation Week in the City of Hastings.
