Off-Sale Liquor License for Coborn's, Inc.

Recommended City Council Action:
Approve a new conditional off-sale liquor license for Coborn's, Inc., pending receipt of all
required information and fees being received.
Background Information:
Cobom's, Inc. has made application for an off-sale license at their new location. They
have requested a conditional approval of the City Council as a condition of signing their
lease. Staff recommends approval of this conditional liquor license, with the conditions
that all required paperwork, fees, background investigation, and other items required by
City and state Code for issuance of a liquor license be successfully completed prior to
issuance of the license.

RESOLUTION NO. 04- -07
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE
OF AN OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE
FOR COBORN'S, INC.
d/b/a Coborn's Liquor
WHEREAS, Coborn's, Inc., has presented application to the City of Hastings for
an off-sale liquor license at Coborn's Liquor, 225 -33'~ Street West once opened; and
WHEREAS, staff has received most of the necessary paperwork, and this
approval will be contingent upon all local and state requirements being met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Hastings that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to sign this resolution
approving the issuance of a conditional off-sale liquor license to Coborn's, Inc. (d/b/a
Coborn's Liquor)
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS THIS 2"d
DAY OF APRIL 2007.
