Semi-annually the City Council is requested to approve the transfer of excess fund from the C
Simmons Trust and the C. Simmons Residuary Trust Funds. The City is required to keep the
original 200,000 endowment in the C. Simmons Trust. The excess fund of $20,058.04 is
requested to be transferred to the City's operating Fund for the Le Duc Mansion.
$9,000 transfer from the Finance department's furniture line item to the IT's department furniture
line item. The Finance staff has completed the move to the new space and was able to use
existing furniture and the filing cabinet was paid out of the building maintenance budget, thus an
excess is available for the IT department's office needs.
$9,000.00 transfer from the Parks ERF to cover overage in the equipment repair account. Parks
had a few unforeseen repairs to some vehicles and equipment that has caused this account to be
over budget.
Council Action Requested:
Approve the 2007 budget adjustments and transfers.
