Sewer Service Repair Assessment Request - 1413 Maple Street
Enclosed for Council approval is a request from Marcia Biermann of 1413 Maple
St. for the City to pay the cost to repair her sanitary sewer service line and assess this
cost back to her property. With similar requests for utility service repair, the City
Attorney has prepared an agreement and waiver of assessment appeal for property owners
to sign, spelling out the conditions and terms of the assessment and protecting the City
from an assessment appeal.
COUNCn... ACTION REQUESTED
Council is request to approve Ms. Biermann's request for the City to fund the
sewer service repair and assess this cost back to their property under the condition that
Ms. Biermann first enter into an assessment agreement with the City.

I reside at 1413 Maple Street and have hired a contractor to' come in to excavate and
repair my broken sewer service. I am requesting that you defer the total cost of the
repairs by assessing the charges against my property. I agree to waive all rights to appeal
this assessment.
