The eastern most island prohibits vehicles from entering the south gate to the treatment plant, while heading east on 2"~ Street. Vehicles now have to enter the plant from our eastern gate on Lea Street. W}rile this is only a minor inconvenience for most vehicles, it has become a hardship for semi trailer rigs. A problem arises when cars are parked on Lea Street in the vicinity of the east gate. The semis are unable to swing wide enough to make it through the gate when a car is in the way. We request that the City consider posting this short section of Lea Street, between 1~ and 2°d Streets as "No Parking". The hours requested would be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday -Friday, except holidays. If you wish to discuss this, please ca11 me at the punt: 437-4212.
