The Feasibility Study will be handed aut at the February 19d' Council meeting. Neighborhood meetings were held for this project on February b`h and 7`h. A memo describing the project in detail and including comments an the project received at the neighborhood meetings will be included in the Council packet for the March 3rd meeting. ~_ .: ~. ccrY o~ $-vss CITY OF HASTINGS Dakota County, Minnesota Resolution No. RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON CITY PROJECT ZOOH-1, NORTH VERMILLION AREA IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution 7-13-07 of the City Council dated July 16, 2007, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the following project: 2008-1 NORTH VERMH.LION AREA IMPROVEMENTS - 6`~`, 7`t`, 8`h, and 9`~ Streets west of Vermillion Street (TH 61} to Spring Street, Spring Street between 6`~ Street and IOa' Street, Eddy Street from 1/z block south of 5`'' Street to 10`}' Street, 7`j' and 8a' Streets east of Vermillion Street to Bailly Street, and Sibley Street between 6`~ Street and 8`~ Street, alleys from Vermillion Street west to Eddy Street between 6a' and 8`~ Streets, and the alley from Vermillion Street east to Sibley Street between 7`~ and 8'~ Streets and said report was received by the City Council of Hastings, Minnesota. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HASTINGS AS FOLLOWS; that The City Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and assess the abutting property, and assess benefits for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Chapter 429 of the Minnesota Statutes at an estimated cost of the improvements of $3,764,094.40 2_ A public hearing will be held on such improvements at 7:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2008 at City Hall at 101 E. 4th Street, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required bylaw.
