Re: Joint Powers Agreement Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Council Action Requested:
Approve the Joint Powers Agreement with Dakota County for Household Hazardous
Waste Collection at the City's Spring Clean Up Day, scheduled for Saturday, Apri126,
2008.
Background Information:
Dakota County works with the City on offering a household hazardous waste collection
as part of the City's annual clean up day. As part of that, we have entered into a Joint
Powers Agreement for this service the last several years. Dakota County has sent out the
contract, but it has not been received in time for inclusion in the packet. A copy will be
provided at the Council meeting.
