Stark, Finance Director RE: Budget adjustments DATE: June 10, ?008 The Police department receives tips that help in the capture or providing evidence to solve crimes. The PD is requesting $500.00 as a reward to the individual who provided information that led to the arrest for 5 felony auto theft damages that occurred earlier this year. The Drug forfeiture fund has funds to cover this expense. The Police department is requesting to use funds from the DUI forfeiture account to purchase 2 squad digital cameras. The DUI fund has funds to cover this purchase. The Building and Inspections department requests to transfer fund in the ?008 budget from part- time salaries to professional services. The funds will be used to cover the expenses related to mowing grass and preventive measures taken to close up vacant homes. $12,664. Council Action Requested: Approve the above budget adjustments.
