Addition
Planning Director Hinzman stated that Council is requested to approve the
preliminary plat to subdivide 35 single family and 128 multiple family lots. Final plat is
requested to subdivide 35 single family lots and 54 town home lots and 4 outlots for
future development. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval
of the requests at their July 14 meeting. Hinzman stated that the plan as presented
did not comply with the City's tree preservation policy; staff recommendation is that
the City Forester must approve the preservation plan as part of the approval.
Hinzman also noted that the amount of trail payment by the developer also needs to
be considered by the City Council.
Bridget Boche, 3558 Regan Lane, stated concern about the density proposed;
she stated a desire for single level townhomes. She also stated a concern about the
amount of proposed park space; stated that she would like more park equipment
installed.
