A refund for water charges is being requested from Park Ridge Apartments

Recently a situation was brought to .the city's attention that has caused an overcharge to
the Park Ridge Apartment complex. A plumber hired byPark Ridge Apartments
connected the sprinkling meter to run-through the main utility meter. This caused the
water for the irrigation>system #a be charged twice. Past practice leas been to issue a
refund based upon the past three year's history
A condition of the refund is to have. Park. Ridge Apartments management have the
sprinkler system plumed to a sprinkler meter and thus eliminating the prablem for the
future.

Council Action Requested
Request for approval of a refund of water when the management has shown that the
condition mentioned above has been met
