BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Change Order identifies the cost of installing a bituminous wedge to protect the curbing along the project and milling of the centerline of the street. The final lift of blacktop did not get installed this season due to the delay of contract award and the items listed in Change Order No. 2 are now required for the winter season. The delay of award to A-1 was required to ensure funding in advance of the project. FINANCIAL IMPACT The value of the work for Change Order No. 2 is a cost increase of $42,900.00.
